Best Western Plus White Bear Country Inn

This hotel is in a great location. White Bear Lake is a nice city near the Myth which is why we stayed there. The staff greeted us and asked how we were doing everytime we walked by them. Pool and hot tub were nice but are as big as I thought they would be. The arcade was just like 5 games in a square "closet" with a vending machine all cramped together! Not a big hotel, I thought it was bigger which is not a bad thing since I hate being lost. The hotel never seemed too busy for us. The bar restaurant Rudy's is awesome - so nice looking.

Liked: Pool area theme looked great; nice staff and good food at Rudy's.
Disliked: Pillows were too firm; bug in the room; missing light bulb in lamp.

Nice hotel close to Myth and several liquor stores. Rooftop bar and restaurant is neat. Great continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Nice pool and hot tub.

Liked: Nice hotel with friendly staff.
Disliked: Was told wrong room number at first, but got it worked out quickly.

Liked: Location was terrific, just a few minutes from nearly anything you could want for. Rooftop bar was excellent, very comfortable, food was great, Chris the bartender was superb.

Liked: Very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and nice. It seemed safe. The pool was nice.
Disliked: The description on booking.com was wrong. It said the room came with a sofa, and it did not. The staff was quick to offer solutions, which was really helpful.
