Disliked: Dreadful coffee at breakfast and lunch. UndrinkableRoom heating on full in bedroom and suite Windows hard to open and no aircon. Careless of staff to hsvd heating full on on August. Evening meal very poor No lift in annex and had to carry my own case upstairs! No one asked if we had enjoyed our stay

Liked: Location and the hotel itself, very good food
Disliked: A rather curt and unfriendly "you can't check in now" when we arrived early.The room was insanely hot and we struggled to sleep, even with the windows open and a fan on. We eventually found the switch for the bathroom's heated towel rail, which had been left on full-tilt.

Great value, lovely

Liked: Very spacious, well appointed rooms. Lovely gardens. Decor, whilst fresh and clean, is very dated in style.
Disliked: Some restaurant/bar staff were lacking in customer service skills and at times verged on rudeness. If this could be addressed it would be a much nicer experience.
