Best Western Plus Wayland Hotel

The staff were very good and the breakfast was very good too. I would definitely stay at this Best Western hotel again.

Liked: My room was very clean. The pillows were great. The desk staff were friendly and professional. I thought the breakfast options were good with scrambled eggs, sausage links, fried potatoes, waffle maker, 4 juice choices, cereals, hot oatmeal, muffins.
Disliked: 1: The step-in shower! It was roomy and the water pressure was fine and it drained well. BUT there was NO PLACE (no holder or ledge or bar) to place soap, shampoo, or a razor! I had to lay my items on the shower floor. Weird! And a potential slip hazard with nothing to grab onto…2: I didn’t care for the hefty “incidental” charge which they promise will be refunded (fingers crossed!)

Liked: The lobby was large and very clean The front desk person was pleasant. The breakfast was good. There was a large selection of snacks and amenities available for purchase.
Disliked: The shower was just okay. The elevator was a little sketchy. The room was comfortable and clean but nothing special. The signage to find it was terrible.

Disliked: No best western sign anywhere. GPS took us to a shopping center. We happened to look all the way to the end and saw the building. It was really a inconvenience for our wedding guest as well. There were 2 different entrances neither one had a sign.
