Best Western with a shuttle...
Liked: We arrived at 8 am from our cruise via a good priced taxi, and waited there for our friends to pick us up at 10. The personnel found my reservation, stored our luggage & let us help ourselves to a variety of coffee & tea. We sat on couches in the lobby. We left until check in at 4, happily got comfy in our room, then ate in the adjoining restaurant. We only wished that we knew that there was a Happy Hour for drinks and some foods before. We'd just missed it. We slept & showered fine. We could have made coffee in our room, but I went to the lobby for the fancy stuff. The shuttle was on time & the airport was wonderful, with a reasonably priced Tim Hortons.
Disliked: We were next to the highway, but on 3rd floor. There were a few noisy cars, but it wasn't too bad.

I do NOT recommend staying...

Disliked: I do NOT recommend staying in this hotel. After checking into my room I lay on the bed and realised I could actively smell that the sheets had been slept in before - I then checked the full bed to find lipstick stains and other big cream/yellow stains that smelled disgusting. I went to tell reception and request an immediate sheet change, which was met with no apology but a promise that the cleaners would go and change the sheets. I left for dinner and came back to the room an HOUR later to find that the sheets still hadn’t been changed. When I returned to reception to ask what was going on, the same member of staff told me that cleaners “couldn’t find any stains” and so had left a few sheets on the side so I could change the bed myself “if I wanted”. When I said the member of staff could come and see and smell the sheets himself he moved me to another room. While there were no clear stains on those sheets, I could also smell that they’d been slept in. I’ve stayed in numerous hotels over my life and know that, as an absolute minimum, sheets will be bleached and washed on the highest heat between visits and never have the musty smell of body odours. The problem for me wasn’t so much discovering dirty sheets; it was the atrocious response from the staff. No apology, gaslighting me that “there were no stains”, telling me I could change the sheets myself, and no offer of discount or otherwise to compensate for the situation.
