Best Western Plus Toronto North York Hotel & Suites

We would highly recommend the hotel. The location was easy to find and close to the main highways. It was quiet and very clean. Good value.

Liked: Cleanliness; elevator; luggage racks were accessible.
Disliked: The ice machine on our floor was absent.

Liked: There was alot of food options around (if you order with uber etc)
Disliked: The room smelled weird.. the beds had stains on them and food residue from the last people that were there.. but the staff was nice about it and they came back to clean. They couldn’t give us another room because they were backed up on them otherwise i believe they would’ve changed our room. No other compensation was given.

Awful, overpriced, uncomfortable, not convenient.

Liked: Nothing- awful stay
Disliked: The hotel would only provide 1 room key and we were there for 2 days and we were doing different things so it was difficult to leave with only one room key and plan things. The pull out bed was stained with blood and felt like you were sleeping on train tracks, not comfortable at all. I called room service to bring extra sheets and a blanket and they were out of blankets and brought the sheet up and hour later and this was at midnight, we wanted to go to bed and had to wait. The light in the bathroom constantly flickered like a stobe light making getting ready difficult and made us sick. For the price of the room this was absolutely the worst stay. Never again.

Outside of a few minor...

Liked: It was comfortable and lots of space for my Granddaughter and myself
Disliked: It wasn’t quite as clean as I first thought. There were sticky spots on the nightstand, which I just washed off so not going to bother housekeeping with that at 11:30pm. And I wish there was an actual bath mat for inside the shower as the tub is super slippery. I improvised and used a hand towel for safety.

Great staff, poor state of...

Liked: Staff was pleasant. The beds were made and tidy. Shower was clean.
Disliked: Our double Queen room needed lots of repair. The room was a disappointment- stains on carpet. Patchy drywall repair in washroom.

Visiting Toronto

Liked: The hotel was close to public transportation. But it was in a more "industrial" area. No restaurants (other than the one at the hotel) or businesses with in walking distance. Keep that in mind if this is something you are looking for.
Disliked: We had a king room with a pull out couch with 3 people staying. There were no sheets or pillows provided for the pullout (we did not request any once we got into the room, my son just slept on the couch as is.) The room was quite small for a king bed.
