Liked: All the facility was amazing can't fault them
Disliked: One of the main things we did not like about the room is that the TV was bog standard as me and my girlfriend was spending a lot off time in the room with her been pregnant and only got a cupple more weeks to go. And had to use my phone to have netflix on. I just thought it was really bad you couldn't even stream my phone to the smart tv apart from that was amazing

Very disappointing and we left...

Liked: Breakfast and reception staff friendly and efficient
Disliked: Unfortunately the hotel had a coach party in who took preference over us and other guests meaning we had to wait for 45 minutes after ordering for dinner! When it did arrive it was not what I had believed I had ordered chicken and veg pie not vegan chicken and veg pie which arrived! At no time was this mentioned when ordering but waiters did not acknowledge this very arrogant!

Relaxing, left feeling refreshed and...

Liked: Good location for the city. Loved the 70’s vibe in the room decor. Very efficient and friendly staff. Pool was an unexpected bonus! The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice on the continental and a well cooked English too. Good coffee! Was nice to enjoy a nightcap in the bar after a busy day.
Disliked: To be honest there was nothing that we disliked. Like all big hotels, in the main areas there were things that looked a little tired in places (eg) scuffed paintwork in some areas and lights that need replacing in the bar area but that’s to be expected as you can’t keep on top of everything in such a big place and it did not spoil our stay. The staff deserve a special mention, they are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Liked: Good location. Great room with a view over canal boats.
Disliked: Bar was poorly stocked. No sherry, no Baileys, poor choice of whisky, no pineapple juice - generally, very little choice.

Liked: Location was good. Breakfast staff excellent.
Disliked: Can be at noisy with doors banging with housekeeping
