Best Western Plus The Inn At Hampton

This was a decent room. Way off the path as we stayed in the Executive suites, so no noise to speak of. The room was clean but basic. The staff was friendly.

Liked: Being that we were the only people staying in the executive suites, the quiet was appreciated.
Disliked: For a holiday they should have had breakfast hours extended a bit - after all New Years Day is a 'sleep a little later' kind of day.

I slept well & enjoyed...

Liked: Comfort
Disliked: Lack of soundproofing

Remodeling when we went

Liked: The room was nice, however the shower head fell off when we turned the shower on for the first time. They fixed it later that day though. They were doing construction/remodeling during our stay as well so the indoor pool was closed and you had to walk through where they were working to get to the breakfast. The area was nice with plenty of places to eat within walking distance.

Clean, great breakfast just wish...

Liked: The breakfast was the best part about it!
Disliked: In the 2 bedroom the individual bed had a worn out bed frame that was bent or broken as the bed did not lay flat, also the mattress was caved in with no support. The 2 beds in the main area were as close to perfect as you could ask for very comfortable to bad it wasn’t all 3.

NOT HAPPY AT ALL/WORST STAY...

Liked: Close to the beach
Disliked: They placed us right beside where they had workers in the hotel remodeling all we heard was saws and sanding and trimming the hedges the WHOLE stay from 7am till bed time, we could NOT sleep in at all nor could we take a nap…..it made us quite cranky…. We came down for the sand sculptures like we do every year…I took videos of our stay in the room

Decent for the price but...

Liked: The location was good for the event that we were attending. The size of the room was good for the amount of people that we had. The coffee machine at the front is great, but we had limited access because of the all the construction. There was plenty of parking and it was pretty quiet most of the night. The breakfast was decent and had multiple different options available.
Disliked: The pull out couch was broken despite the room being advertised to fit 5-6 people. There were not enough towels supplied despite us sharing the size of our party. The woman who checked us in was less than pleasant. Some of the pillows and sheets were stained. There were also doors that were unlocked because of construction that seemed like they should have been locked. The room we stayed in needs serious renovations. Wallpaper is peeling off and the valance for the curtains is coming off the wall.

A nice place to stay.

Liked: Everything was as we would expect. Staff was friendly, room was clean and neat, everything (AC, shower, TV) worked as expected. Breakfast had many choices and was very good. I would gladly stay here again.
Disliked: I have nothing to suggest.
