Best Western Plus The Inn At Hampton

This was a decent room. Way off the path as we stayed in the Executive suites, so no noise to speak of. The room was clean but basic. The staff was friendly.

Liked: Being that we were the only people staying in the executive suites, the quiet was appreciated.
Disliked: For a holiday they should have had breakfast hours extended a bit - after all New Years Day is a 'sleep a little later' kind of day.

Overall our stay was good....

Liked: The rooms we newly remodeled and were very clean. The breakfast was good with several choices of food to please everyone's dietary needs. Food staff was very friendly.
Disliked: The front desk staff seemed very confused when we checked in. They weren't sure about our payment when I already fully prepaid for the room. They had quite a time trying to find a room for me and my husband. Then they asked me to secure a $100 deposit for amenities. I told them to use my card on file. It came up and I agreed to it but then the girl at the desk said it didn't go through. I refused to do it again for fear of charging my card twice. Then she saw that it did in fact get approved. We were not pleased with the check in process. Lastly the pillows in the rooms can use an upgrade; not the most comfortable.

Disliked: Noise in hallways is loud.

Liked: Freshly renovated rooms. Very close to the beach (8 minutes) for half the beach hotel cost.
Disliked: No elevator.

Liked: The front staff was very friendly and easy curious. The room was wonderful for the suite. Was mostly handicapped accessible. I would have hoped for a easier way for my husband; who is handicapped; to get it and out of the bath tub. However loved the seat that was in the bath tub.

I would have liked to have been told about the lift for disability customers; while we were checking in or a notice in the room that was handicapped accessible for the pool. I think customers who are in wheelchairs should be able to get into the gazebo.
