Originally built in 1835 The Croft Hotel BW Signature Collection is located in the historic village of Croft-on-Tees overlooking the River Tees. Free parking and free WiFi are available at the hotel. The hotel combines period features with modern décor. Each room has an private bathroom a work desk TV hairdryer as well as tea/coffee making facilities and Egyptian cotton bed linen. Some rooms have beautiful views of Croft Bridge and St Peter's Church supposedly where Lewis Carroll was inspired to write Alice in Wonderland. The on-site restaurant serves up a range dishes specializing in traditional English cuisine but with contemporary influences. They are committed to using locally sourced produce wherever possible and there is also a range of bar snacks and packed lunches available. There are also some dedicated function rooms available for business conferences weddings and other special occasions. Despite its quiet location The Croft Hotel BW Signature Collection is only 8 minutes' drive from the center of Darlington 7 minutes from the A1 and 15 minutes from Teesside International Airport. Popular nearby attractions include Croft Circuit which is only a 6-minute drive away. Darlington Railway Museum is 5 miles away while Richmond Castle is 10.6 miles away from The Croft Hotel BW Signature Collection.

Very comfortable stay with good...

Liked: Quiet location beside a beautiful bridge over the Tees and a charming village Food was excellent, as were the staff
Disliked: Road noise in the morning was a surprise

Great value friendly staff

Liked: Very kind staff.
Disliked: The Wi-Fi was really slow practically not even working and because of the remote location a location I am familiar with because I am from the local area the mobile signal is not non-existent inside the building.

We were there for family...

Liked: Breakfast was ok, good choice, however, we had to ask for butter for toast and no sauce available. Slow at filling the juice etc back up.Could not comment on location as we were there for family wedding and did not venture outside. Wedding service was excellent, brilliant day/night

Passable

Liked: Wedding downstairs was nice bedrooms ok
Disliked: Shower was poor had to turn off twice due to poor drainage and overflowing onto the floor Payment taken twice one from booking.com and another from The Croft hotel,which now I have to claim payment back.Tea and coffees left but with no milk.Dirty glassware at breakfast.
