Very unsanitary with lazy cleaning...

Liked: The place being under construction didn’t bother me. It was the bad smell on my initial floor that welcomed me for what was to come. I had noticed in the morning that a towel, that had accidentally fallen into the dry bathtub, was soaking wet the next morning, though I did not use the shower yet. There was also sediment that had risen up out of the drain. I originally was not planning on even mentioning this or complaining about it. This changed when I saw the amount of hair that was not mine that was under the sheets with me and then I lifted the pillow next to my head and there were a lot more. I turned the lamp on to get a better look and that’s when I noticed the blood splatter on the wall. Obviously very concerning. Between all of the hair in the bed and the blood on the wall, I really just wanted to cry because I was so disgusted and uncomfortable and wanted to get out of there so bad.Then it was just other things that were bothering me like the front of the remote wouldn’t stay on so you had to hold down the metal part to touch the batteries with one hand and change the channel with the other hand. Also that there was a random cord sticking out of the wall above the door. Everything looked pretty cheap, which I did not foresee with the cost of a night stay. I was moved to a room on the second floor, which was right above the walkway awning to get into the hotel. I was woken up at 5 AM with people talking and smoking outside and could not go back to sleep after that. I was really just trying to make an easy trip for two family funerals and dreaded coming back to the hotel. I felt dirty and scammed. I could not get a refund since it was not booked directly through the hotel. I would still like a refund.
