Best Western Plus Silverdale Beach Hotel

I thought that the staff was great. My room was comfortable.

Liked: Friendly staff.

Many website stated free breakfast, but there wasn't one. The rooms were very dated; the heat didn't work; the bed was as hard as a rock; none of our channels worked. We did have a view of the water and the lighted town tree! The staff was very kind.

Liked: Nice front desk staff.
Disliked: Heat didn't work; hard bed; no free breakfast as stated.

The rooms were wonderful; the staff was fantastic. I couldn't believe that we got charged $11 for 'services' that we didn't use - just a general service charge. It put a kink in my feel about the hotel. I would rather that they increase the rate, rather than hitting me with that fee when I walked in the door.

Disliked: Did not know about the ongoing renovations and we could not access some of the amenities. We were not the only guests to inquire about the issues with the renovations. One amenity no one could access was the laundry room and the only laundrymat in town closed at 8pm. The hotel should have put a notice on the booking sites stating the hotel renovations and informed guests of what amenities could not be used. Front desk staff was awesome very nice. View was great and location was centralized.

Disliked: It will be better when they have finished remodeling Our room still had the old carpeting and a very noisy refrigerator. But many other aspects had been updated. You could tell that they were in process

Disliked: The hotel is under construction and we were not made aware of that. Loose wires, walk in to construction in main lobby, no where to sit but one bench, construction and loose wires everywhere, short staff, construction all the way to the pool. No chairs on balcony. Kept up most of night by room above us because it sounded like 10 people up there jumping around when only two people there. I know that because i asked front desk staff. Very loud, no sound protection. I have pictures of it all. Bookit.com did not make you aware of any construction going on.
