Great place to stay close...

Liked: Great location near English Bay. Easy to get around on public transport and ferry to Granville Island. Lots of restaurants and a great supermarket close by.
Disliked: Everything was as expected.

Disliked: 3rd floor had mice all throughout assuming the entire building has them and while it’s understandable that it’s an older building, pest remediation should have resolved this but from past reviews it’s clear this is an ongoing issue

Incredible location, friendly and helpful...

Liked: fantastic location, right near the beach and lots of shops/cafes etc. Breakfast was astonishingly good and even when really busy the staff were super friendly and accommodating

Disliked: They didn't want to store excessive luggage, while we were take a short trip! The building has seen its good times years ago and must be rebuilt!

Liked: Pay TV, bathroom was good and clean.Location
Disliked: The elevator shaft being right next to the bed. The air conditioner that sounded like a jet engine, not great when my partner needs it on.Very noisy when facing the car park, with a garbage truck... sometimes.Too much light in the morning, not great when travelling and need a sleep in.Not a big issue, but no bedside table on one side of the bed.

Superb

Liked: Staff super friendly, professional and helpful. Location was close to waterfront, cafes, pharmacy etc- all within walking distance. Restaurant, bar and lounge convenient. Comfy bed and reasonably sized room.

Disliked: Shame there is no safe in room or facility at desk to hold valuable docs.Some might find the pub music next door loud-didnt bother us. Finished at midnight.
