Very close to Old Town

Liked: Only a few blocks to walk to Old town. Right off the freeway and loved that there was a restaurant and lounge with good food and great staff. The room was comfortable and updated 50” TV as we wanted to catch up on a game at night. Overall, although this was not the newest or most modern, it surpassed our expectations by staff and amenities.
Disliked: Close to freeway and not great neighborhood however the parking was free and surrounded by fence for security.

Liked: Had one dinner in hotel restaurant and was good. Waiter was nice and gave us ideas of things to see in the area.
Disliked: Housekeeping could have improved. We asked twice to have housekeeping clean our room. We didn't require the bedsheets/pillow cases be replaced but would have liked clean towels without having to ask. I believe extra toilet paper should have been left in the room also. There are two rolls in the dual holder and one was completely out. I asked the front desk for another roll and she was happy to accommodate.

Would stay here again.

Liked: This place was great for never being to ABQ before,we came and saw the Gathering Of Nations,did a bunch of local shopping.,the hotel it self is one of the Best Western I've stayed,I'll be traveling soon more and hope to find one like this,the room was clean staff were very nice,the attached restaurant. The wild avocado was very good.food had a lot of choices and very flavorful the bartender. Joey in the tap and cork lounge was awesome. The first night we were there they started a karaoke night. The picture of the food was Jenny's tamales. My family makes tamales. We make them once a year. I always taste the rice and beans before anything else. If that's good then the rest should be good and it was
Disliked: I didn't realize until later in the week that we were being charged the $30 A night for a pet fee. I did notice dog bowls in our room and a pet bed. This trip I did not bring my dog but the staff was very kind and helpful of taking that charge off my bill
