Best Western Plus Richmond Airport Hotel

We had a good stay. Motel is older but was clean and without bedbugs (yes, I check); staff were courteous and professional; breakfast was super good; would stay again.

Disliked: I got there late and could not really see that well but when I got up in the morning, I couldn’t breathe. I had a headache, and then I realized that the whole robe was filled with mold. Pull up in the ceiling in the corners and on the floor in the corners on the wall.

Worst hotel I have ever...

Liked: It was a horrible experience! We needed up leaving the first night! Room reeked of dope. And I booked a double bed.. ended up giving my room to someone else as I didn’t make it there by 8 pm. Yet I called the night before and spoke to staff and told them my situation. Ended up giving me a king bed much didn’t accommodate my families needs. Thank goodness I purchased insurance!

Bad

Disliked: Best Western canceled the reservation by e-mail while I was enroute, in the air. Stated reason-water damage. That's not so bad--nobody's fault, these things happen. But, no one at the hotel answers the phone so I can ask about my upcoming reservation less than a week later. Tried 3 times to date--no answer. Need an answer so I can book an alternative. What do you want to bet they charge me a no-show fee? Real customer friendly.
