Best Western Plus Richmond

We had a good stay. Motel is older but was clean and without bedbugs (yes, I check); staff were courteous and professional; breakfast was super good; would stay again.

Liked: Very little - room was okay. A/C loud. Bathroom clean
Disliked: Workout equipment not working. Breakfast area not well kept. Family members (it seemed) were sleeping in lobby, had left over food (pizza boxes) on kitchen counter. Toddler aged child being watched by staff. Left this hotel after just one night.

Pleasant

Adequate but not great

Liked: Very clean; pleasant staff; excellent service by the airport shuttle.
Disliked: The bed had a very thin mattress on a platform. Resulting in a very hard bed. No Kleenex left in the bathroom. Soap dispenser in shower was empty. No luggage carts that I could see. With my mobility issues it made it difficult to get my luggage to & from my room.

Disliked: I told front desk the shampoo and conditioner and soap was out .No big deal.8

Comfortable bed. Bathroom was fine...

Liked: Basics were essentially OK.
Disliked: The TV remote was not fully functional and appeared to have been chewed by a dog.The bedside lamps had electrical sockets but they didn't function.Breakfast was awful but par for the course for inexpensive American hotels.

Disappointing

Disliked: After a short stay, I called them 3 times asking for the items left in the room. They mentioned that they would call me back once checked. Every time, no response. :(
