Liked: I recently booked two rooms for two nights at your property through Booking.com. Due to a family emergency, only one family was able to attend. I immediately requested to:•Cancel one room, or•Extend the booking for one room to a future date, or•Keep the credit on file for future use.Unfortunately, both the hotel and Booking.com kept referring me back to each other, with neither party taking responsibility. This was very disappointing, especially given the circumstances and the fact that I was not requesting a full cancellation of both rooms.To avoid wasting the booking, we brought two children (ages 10 and 12) from another family to use the second room. They became locked inside, and when I went to the front desk for help, I was told there was no spare or master key. Instead of taking urgent action to assist, the staff kept telling me I still had to check out at 11 a.m., completely ignoring the fact that two children were locked in the room. They even suggested I “call somewhere outside” for help, leaving me stressed and worried for their safety for over 30 minutes.This experience was extremely frustrating and unacceptable — from the lack of flexibility in handling an emergency booking change to the unsafe and dismissive handling of a situation involving children. I request that this matter be reviewed immediately and that a fair resolution be provided.
