Best Western Plus Portage Hotel And Suites

It wasn’t a great experience...

Liked: Breakfast was nasty and it was a lot of food
Disliked: I don’t like how I was greeted and how they not communicate that pool wasn’t working

Disliked: We drove 2 and a half hours away to stays here and the hotel staff lied about the pool being open when we called before reserving the room

Liked: I liked the location of the hotel in proximity to my family that I was visiting.
Disliked: The price was too much the pool was never open I did not get my breakfast and the staff was completely rude.

Liked: The lady at the front counter was very friendly and helpful. Also, the morning chef/cook went above expectations and served us very well.
Disliked: The pool was very cold and the kids didn't want to stay in it very long. It would be nice now that there is no hot tub if the pool could be heated up a little more.

Liked: No breakfast available!! I reach someone to the front desk and told me they dont have any one in the kitchen the person at the front mentioned it that she can make scrambled egg Also the pool wasnt available sheets smell awful! No towels in bathroom

Liked: The only good thing was when we got there they didnt have the room we had paid for ready so we got a suite.
Disliked: The hotel was not a good one and we wont be back . Our bathroom had mold on the ceiling and smelled like it . The breakfast the first day was ok but the next day they had hardly any breakfast out even when asked about they didnt care .pool was closed .
