Best Western Plus Poconos Hotel

I spent a lot of time investigating motels in the area because I was booking 4 rooms for my family. Some were a little cheaper and some were more expensive. But reviews convinced me to select this one. The room was very nice. My family was very pleased and we all enjoyed our stay. The pool was also great looking, but didn't use it. We found there was a lot to do in the area. If I need a motel in this area I will definitely return.

Liked: The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was superior, consisting of scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, great self serving waffles, and all the details - bagels, donuts, juices etc.
Disliked: Construction vehicles took up convenient parking spaces by the second floor entrance.

Good value, great location and staff was very helpful.

Liked: Great location for shopping and local attractions.

The room was clean, including the bath. Was appropriately priced given location and room. Staff was pleasant. Parking was minimal. Continental breakfast was good with a variety of food including waffles.

Liked: Close to outlets, casino and eating places.
Disliked: Walking space in room was minimal.

Disliked: Being right next to the laundry. Also missed breakfast because it closed at 9am; most BW I’ve stayed with are open until 10am.

Disliked: Upon check-in, we found the front desk staff to be noticeably unaccommodating. Shortly after arriving in our room, I noticed a persistent beeping sound, which appeared to be coming from the smoke detector. I contacted the front desk to report the issue, and to my surprise, I was instructed to remove the unit myself and bring it down to the front desk. This response was both inappropriate and concerning from a safety and service standpoint. I called again, and fortunately, a different staff member answered and assured me that maintenance would be sent to address the issue. While the second response was more appropriate, the initial handling of the situation reflected poorly on the level of service and professionalism expected from the front desk staff.
