Best Western Plus Philadelphia Convention Center Hotel

Horrible because Best Western was not a place I felt comfortable staying in. Was charged 205.00 for nothing. They didn't even try to make up for false advertising.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: Appearance of hotel outside and inside.

I would not recommend. Not close enough to any attractions you would feel safe walking around in. Parking is a block and a half away. The mattress on my bed almost sank to the floor when I sat on it, so not a comfortable sleep.

Liked: The room appeared clean and it was not noisy during the overnight hours.
Disliked: The breakfast buffet was the worst. I got yogurt from the little cooler and it had expired the week before. The bananas all had dark spots. The waffle maker was missing a knob and was not working. Turkey sausage was so hard and dry it was inedible. House keeping staff were very loud early hours - sounded as thought they were talking on their cell phones.

Plan for city traffic and this is just a perfect hub for your experience.

Liked: Just about everything from the front desk's help identifying a mistake to the cleanliness of our room. Complimentary breakfast was good (except for the sausage - not a fan).
Disliked: None. Lyft to and from the concert was easy.

Comfortable accommodation at a reasonable...

Liked: Comfortable accommodation with friendly staff in a quiet location. Room facilities a bit older, but everything clean and functional. Public transport within walking distance. Relatively close to the center. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: The windows in the room couldn't be opened (they were locked) and we couldn't air out the room.

Never Again will I stay...

Liked: There was nothing I liked about breakfast and the location is dangerous and unsafe.
Disliked: The room wasn't cleaned as well as out should have been. The carpet and the bathroom shower was dirty. Them you have to wait awhile for the hot water to travel up the floors before you can use it. The breakfast was horrible The cheapest brown and serve sausage with hard cooked egg whites everyday. With hard waffles. The server threatened a vacationer who was foreign. The young black girl was nasty and stayed with the lady about breakfast. It was a language barrier issue as the lady didn't understand English well. The area was noisy right by the elevator. People in there rooms were loud. Kids running up and down the hall.

Disliked: The air condidnt get very cold, but we were able to sleep okay. We found an empty water bottle under the bed from previous guest.
