Best Western Plus Philadelphia Convention Center Hotel

Horrible because Best Western was not a place I felt comfortable staying in. Was charged 205.00 for nothing. They didn't even try to make up for false advertising.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: Appearance of hotel outside and inside.

I would not recommend. Not close enough to any attractions you would feel safe walking around in. Parking is a block and a half away. The mattress on my bed almost sank to the floor when I sat on it, so not a comfortable sleep.

Liked: The room appeared clean and it was not noisy during the overnight hours.
Disliked: The breakfast buffet was the worst. I got yogurt from the little cooler and it had expired the week before. The bananas all had dark spots. The waffle maker was missing a knob and was not working. Turkey sausage was so hard and dry it was inedible. House keeping staff were very loud early hours - sounded as thought they were talking on their cell phones.

Plan for city traffic and this is just a perfect hub for your experience.

Liked: Just about everything from the front desk's help identifying a mistake to the cleanliness of our room. Complimentary breakfast was good (except for the sausage - not a fan).
Disliked: None. Lyft to and from the concert was easy.

Overall good value for money

Disliked: We arrived close to midnight, person who issued keys to us was not happy to talk to us. Unfriendly and unprofessional.

a room with no daylight

Liked: The staff is friendly, and did their job well regarding cleaning the room. Unfortunately they don't have much to work with regarding the building layout. I asked if I could get a room that has some daylight and they gave me a different one, but that one had the exact same problem.
Disliked: The building is a retrofitted old office building, so there was little to no daylight in the bedroom. the only window in the entire place was down a narrow hallway (see 705 and 713 in the attached floorplan photo). Perpetual darkness didn't exactly help with jet lag for the week that I stayed there.The breakfast was okay, but the coffee wasn't great and gave me an upset stomach, so I went elsewhere for coffee from the third day onwards and had no problems with that anymore.

Good place to stay but...

Liked: Front desk workers were EXTREMELY helpful and understanding to me.

Not going back. Better desls...

Liked: Not much. Decent location.
Disliked: Dreary. Windows don't open in the rooms.
