Good hotel in nice quiet...

Liked: Comfortable room , all clean. Smooth check in , nice reception staff , nice quiet and peaceful area. Good location
Disliked: Problem with water pressure in bathroom , when we flushed the toilet there was no water in the shower until the flush was full. There was a wedding going on so it was noisy until midnight but the hotel let us about the inconvenience

Nice room

Liked: Great location Breakfast ok
Disliked: Wet carpet was cleaned just before I checked in as someone had spilt a bottle of red wine on it . No other rooms available to transfer to . Hotel owner gave me half my money back which was really kind of her

Very clean but dated.

Liked: Lovely building, well kept grounds, next to a river. Spacious rooms & plenty of free parking.Cleaning staff were very helpful.
Disliked: Dated decoration-very ‘brown’. But all very well maintained & clean.Bar was shut at 9pm (my husband’s birthday). Disappointed! Apparently “the hotel was very quiet” so they closed the bar.Reception staff were polite when approached but not very welcoming.Minimal tea/coffee/milk provided-2 tiny milk pods, 2tea bags etc.
