Best Western Plus Ottawa/Kanata Hotel & Conference Centre

The area was perfect - quiet and relaxed. The rooms are big and greatly organized. I would definitely recommend going to this hotel.

Liked: The food, pool, rooms were perfect.
Disliked: I don't have any complaints.

Disliked: Did like the no ice in our floor. AC was not that strong. TV only 1 chanel, couldn't watch the news.

If you value your vehicle...

Liked: We were not able stay long enough to enjoy anything
Disliked: There are low income families who live at the hotel. This should not be an issue but the children are left unattended to vandalize and steal from vehicles. Workers present explained that they had had gasoline siphoned from their vehicles that day. The children were throwing sticks and broken glass around the parking lot and climbing on our vehicle, inspecting the contents. Upon trying to immediately check out, we were informed by another guest (who was also demanding their money back) that there is a significant bed bug/cockroach problem.

Disliked: Asked for two queens received a pull out couch and king bed. Kids hated the pullout couch

In my opinion the room...

Liked: Large room. Friendly staff. Checked us in 1/2 early and front desk was happy to accommodate…vey nice after travelling.
Disliked: The room needs some deep cleaning…around the sliding door. Back of bathroom door. Some fresh paint on doors & trim would help. No face cloths were provided. For an older room it wasn’t bad but for the price we just thought it would have been renovated. The hall carpet was fairly new but a little faded by the doors perhaps from salt. Front lobby nice but dusty.
