Best Western Plus Ottawa/Kanata Hotel & Conference Centre

The area was perfect - quiet and relaxed. The rooms are big and greatly organized. I would definitely recommend going to this hotel.

Disliked: Asked for two queens received a pull out couch and king bed. Kids hated the pullout couch

In my opinion the room...

Liked: Large room. Friendly staff. Checked us in 1/2 early and front desk was happy to accommodate…vey nice after travelling.
Disliked: The room needs some deep cleaning…around the sliding door. Back of bathroom door. Some fresh paint on doors & trim would help. No face cloths were provided. For an older room it wasn’t bad but for the price we just thought it would have been renovated. The hall carpet was fairly new but a little faded by the doors perhaps from salt. Front lobby nice but dusty.

Liked: Breakfast was bad since there wasn’t one. No breakfast included. Had been discontinued and the website wasn’t up to date. Unacceptable!!! We were very disappointed as we had a family of 7 and were counting on a decent full breakfast to start our busy days.
Disliked: Ice machine broken -totally out of service! 1 of 3 electrical Outlets didn’t work Floor lamp broken Not enough light in the room Not enough storage or space in general House keeping often forgot to stock up coffee pods, towels etc. had to request multiple times to get what we needed. Saturday afternoon, the hotel is totally booked They are cleaning the pool. Our boys couldn’t go swimming. We will never stay at a Best Western again. We will also never book through booking.com again either.
