Great weekend stay

Liked: All staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Going through construction, so at times it was loud.

Quite disappointed in our stay...

Liked: The view was good, as was the location. the room was fine in size with a very comfortable bed.The little cafe/bakery was nice and the staff very friendly. Our check-in was very nice. The deck/ lanai was nice with very comfy and up-to-date chairs. Liked the rapidly getting to nice warm water at the sinks and shower.
Disliked: The carpet was old and dreary looking. The fireplace didn't show flames, just barely visible low-burning smattering of embers. lacking ambiance. The toilet lid is cracked. The inner shower curtain has a hole in it- icky, like it was rotting. The light- blocking drapery had little holes in it- old and disintegrating. We felt like the $300 + per night was way too much for the condition of the room.The cleaning person left a used, hard and shriveled kitchen sponge in place on the counter, with no replacement. Disgusting and so unsanitary!!

Great location, all the necessities...

Liked: Nice to have the porch to sit on. The fireplace adds a nice aesthetic. Very close to beach and nice location. This was generally a great place for the price. Lots of free parking.
Disliked: We were in a "view" room but one side was blocked by the wall of the hotel.
