Liked: All staff on my visit were very friendly and helpful, there was a kitchen employee nearby when I was talking about breakfast at the reception desk who was very helpful and made recommendations. I booked a single room but ended up with what felt like a king size bed, bath with shower, and plenty of space. The bed was very comfortable and a fan was provided upon request due to the hot weather.
Disliked: The only thing that bugged me was that my room had an inward opening window, meaning that I couldn't fully close the curtains. But, it's a small price to pay when the place is such good value and in such a pleasant location. In a future refit, air conditioning would be a great investment, but i wasn't uncomfortable during this heatwave.

Liked: Staff all were very friendly, suite was a good size
Disliked: Very hot and uncomfortable, advertised fans at reception but had none. Bathroom floor was not clean, the showerhead had a lot of limescale so was not a comfortable shower as water going all over the place. Bar staff often weren’t behind the bar so sometimes waiting for over 5 minutes to get served.

Liked: The staff on my arrival - Aaron and a new colleague - were excellent, friendly and efficient. Aaron promptly fed back to my wife who had emailed the hotel advising that I had been delayed on my journey. It was well placed for my needs and the bed was excellent after a 465 miles motorbike ride down from Inverary, Scotland. Morning reception and dining area staff were v helpful, friendly and efficient.
Disliked: Slight slope on car park when I had to move my v heavy motorbike! No real issues.
