Room was warm and comfortable. Bar meal was prompt and delicious. Staff very helpful, nothing too much trouble for them.

Liked: Extremely helpful and friendly receptionist and bar staff. Couldn't be more helpful.
Disliked: No negative comments to make.

Rooms and communal areas very well maintained - very clean and facilities provided as advertised. Highly recommend a visit!

Liked: Staff are fantastic - very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the 13.95 evening meal deal ( 3 course meal and a glass of wine ) - food was exceptional and very good value for money.
Disliked: My room was next to the stairs and the floors in the hallway were very creaky, so, with people walking up and down the halls all night, I didn't get much sleep.

Disliked: Access to the room warren of staircases (old building)to get to room, but worth it for a good room.

Superb

Liked: Room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, the chef prepared my eggs the way i had requested so that was a bonus.
Disliked: Air con was not working and it was a hot day, the receptionist gave me an extra fan which helped a little bit.

Disliked: Very hot weekend, the aircon in room was not working, we heard another guest complaining, didn't really get a replyFancied a beer in the bar on arrival, taps were there, but no beer ???

Liked: The room was very spacious and clean, with good facilities.
Disliked: We stayed during a very warm period, it would have been nice for water to be provided in the room.

Liked: Not far from where we needed to travel to.Staff was lovely.
Disliked: Room was a little small. And it was very hot this wk. One fan wasn't enough requested another but unfortunately wasn't in the room. So lack of sleep due to the heat.
