Room was warm and comfortable. Bar meal was prompt and delicious. Staff very helpful, nothing too much trouble for them.

Liked: Extremely helpful and friendly receptionist and bar staff. Couldn't be more helpful.
Disliked: No negative comments to make.

Rooms and communal areas very well maintained - very clean and facilities provided as advertised. Highly recommend a visit!

Liked: Staff are fantastic - very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the 13.95 evening meal deal ( 3 course meal and a glass of wine ) - food was exceptional and very good value for money.
Disliked: My room was next to the stairs and the floors in the hallway were very creaky, so, with people walking up and down the halls all night, I didn't get much sleep.

Not worth the money

Liked: The bed was comfortable and the room provided mostly everything we needed for our short stay.
Disliked: Firstly the room had a strange musty smell when we came in. The window had been opened to try to get rid of this but hadn’t worked and it got worse during our stay. The rooms were not sound-proofed at all and we were woken up at 6am by children running around in the room above us. You could also hear everything from the rooms next door and the hallway.The extractor fan in the bathroom was very loud when the light was turned on, and there seemed to be mould or mould staining on the walls around the shower

Good, value for money

Liked: Convenient location. Lots of hot water and clean towels daily. Large bed. Breakfast good. Staff very helpful.
Disliked: No gluten free bread

Disliked: The place didn't have very many guests, it had no atmosphere.

This hotel looks great at...

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: The room was hot and stuffy. There was no fan supplied. The view from the window overlooked a yard/car park. The room was so hot we couldn't sleep and we left the hotel early.

Good

Disliked: Lack of pulled or electric pump drinks at the bar area. Also a member of staff not any ideas of the drinks out for sale.
