Best Western Plus Nottingham Westminster Hotel

Room was warm and comfortable. Bar meal was prompt and delicious. Staff very helpful, nothing too much trouble for them.

Liked: Extremely helpful and friendly receptionist and bar staff. Couldn't be more helpful.
Disliked: No negative comments to make.

Rooms and communal areas very well maintained - very clean and facilities provided as advertised. Highly recommend a visit!

Liked: Staff are fantastic - very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the 13.95 evening meal deal ( 3 course meal and a glass of wine ) - food was exceptional and very good value for money.
Disliked: My room was next to the stairs and the floors in the hallway were very creaky, so, with people walking up and down the halls all night, I didn't get much sleep.

Liked: When we arrived reception saw my husband and myself had mobility issues and without even having to ask changed our room to ground floor. She was so super friendly

Noisy unless you request otherwise.

Liked: Staff were helpful when pushed. Was moved to a quieter room after discussing cancelling my reservation. At first I was simply told there were no more rooms so nothing could be done.Second room was much nicer and quieter.
Disliked: Windows aren't sound proof and front-facing rooms (220) are noisy from the busy road outside. Was told I'd need to "request" a quiet room in advance, but really a quiet room should be a minimum standard for a hotel of this cost and rating.The room I moved to (322) was a long distance from reception up and down sets of stairs. The bedside lights didn't work.

Disliked: On a very busy road, not a big problem but you can hear the traffic very early

Disliked: The hairdryer was fixed by a cable so couldn't see in a mirror
