Best Western Plus North Shore Hotel

Great location for traveling to...

Liked: Like the location. The breakfast area and choices were amazing. Clean rooms and spacious. Great seating area and nice pool.
Disliked: Not much of a view, mostly parking lot or highway. Tiny pillows.

The room was so damp...

Liked: Staff was very friendly
Disliked: The room was really damp. I don't know if the room was closed up for a long period of time before we used it. I had hoped that running the a/c might draw some of the moisture out of the air. It improved just slightly over our two-day stay, but still never got comfortable. It wasn't due to humid weather because the temperature outside was beautiful.

Great staff and comfortable room

Liked: The room was nice, clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast and the staff was very helpful, especially the well dressed gentleman that worked during the day.

Liked: The convenience in location. Personally I like the architecture. I stayed there many times when my child was younger, happy memories!
Disliked: How the breakfast food area is super crowded. There was a school group there the morning we were trying to get breakfast, not enough room to move and grab breakfast when so crowded.

Superb

Liked: The staff and service was superb. Rooms were super clean. Air-conditioning was great as we were there during a bad heat wave. Facilities including laundry, swimming were all excellent and seamless.Special mention of superb service was Kesney at the reception and Jocelyn in housekeeping. Bravo guys.
Disliked: There was some kind of glitch and their fire alarm kept going off every night and till the firemen came and checked everything was OK. It kept blaring. Sometimes really early on the morning or late nights. Although it was great for safety but very very inconvenient as guests. They should have given some compensatory discount. As it rang 5 times during our 4 nights. But that was not the staff's issue. Staff, services were great.

Liked: Reasonably priced, rooms were very clean.Very Quire at night.The staff is very friendly and courteous.
Disliked: breakfast, eggs were burnt, meat was cold, 4 slice toaster for too many people, could not make or toast English muffins, line waiting. The pool area is very slippery with those tiles. The safety rail to get in the pool broken.

Great location and staff but...

Liked: The breakfast in the morning was great and had a good variety of hot food. The location is great and the staff were all very kind. The pool and workout facilities were great and well maintained and we love the extra lobby space for just hanging out.
Disliked: The beds and especially the pillows were uncomfortable and left me with a stitch in my side. The three nights we were there the fire alarm went off every night, all after 10pm when everyone in my room was sleeping.
