Best Western Plus North Miami/Bal Harbour

I have stayed here before when visiting my Scholar at FIU. Love how close it is to the Biscayne Campus. The staff is friendly and hotel is clean. I had no issues at all. Should I need to visit North Miami again, Best Western here I come. Keep up the excellent work.

Would not stay here again.

Liked: Gave us a new room because of the cigarette smell.
Disliked: Old and expensive for the amenities. Bathroom smelled of cigarettes. Made photocopies of my license and credit card in case we damaged the room. Not sure why that would be needed when I prepaid the room and presented the same card at check in. Unnecessary to do that especially in an age of identity theft.

I'll be back.

Liked: The hotel is in the perfect spot it’s right in the middle of everything you won’t have to go very far to do stuff. The pool was very nice and there was a lot of shady spots to get out of the sun for a minute. I know there was a restaurant right next to the hotel we didn’t eat there but it smelled amazing and the hotel would give deals to make the meals cheaper.
Disliked: It does take along time to get hot water if you aren’t on the first floor, due to it being in the middle of everything you will hear cars honking there horn all day and some through the night. We also had problem with our room keys one wouldn’t work so we had to deal with one key the whole trip.
