Best Western Plus North Miami/Bal Harbour

I have stayed here before when visiting my Scholar at FIU. Love how close it is to the Biscayne Campus. The staff is friendly and hotel is clean. I had no issues at all. Should I need to visit North Miami again, Best Western here I come. Keep up the excellent work.

Would not stay here again.

Liked: Gave us a new room because of the cigarette smell.
Disliked: Old and expensive for the amenities. Bathroom smelled of cigarettes. Made photocopies of my license and credit card in case we damaged the room. Not sure why that would be needed when I prepaid the room and presented the same card at check in. Unnecessary to do that especially in an age of identity theft.

I'll be back.

Liked: The hotel is overpriced for the money paid and the quality of the room I was at.The room I asked for was double bed and I was told the one I chose was with dissability - wich it was not.A big hurdle to be chqnged to a king size bed in a very crapy room on the first floor.The same one given to me on the first time I ever rented there.This is the third time I stay in that hotel becuae my son leaves nearby.First time and this time - bad.The second time was not bad.Staff is friendly and professional.Very strong odor to fresh paint made your walk trhough the hall uncomfortable.The restaurant is EXCELLENT!
