I have stayed here before when visiting my Scholar at FIU. Love how close it is to the Biscayne Campus. The staff is friendly and hotel is clean. I had no issues at all. Should I need to visit North Miami again, Best Western here I come. Keep up the excellent work.

Liked: Gave us a new room because of the cigarette smell.
Disliked: Old and expensive for the amenities. Bathroom smelled of cigarettes. Made photocopies of my license and credit card in case we damaged the room. Not sure why that would be needed when I prepaid the room and presented the same card at check in. Unnecessary to do that especially in an age of identity theft.

I'll be back.

Liked: Great value for money. An old but very good room, super comfortable and well equipped. It's very worthwhile, a great price, beautiful pool, very good bathrooms, good bed, everything great.
Disliked: The carpet is always a problem, but it was well looked after, but it would be interesting to have the furniture and carpet refurbished in the future.

Liked: This hotel is in a good location close to shops and restaurants. Though it is on a busy corner, the room was quiet and comfortable.
Disliked: It seems strange to call this hotel a Bal Harbour hotel as it is certainly located in the heart of North Miami.
