Unfriendly staff, miserable check in...

Liked: Not a lot, to be honest. The room was at least fairly clean, but there were cigarette burns on the toilet lide and the carpet was grubby.
Disliked: The checking in process was awful. There was no one at reception so I had to go to the bar next door and ask the barman to check me in. He was really surly and unfriendly, then told me my card had been declined and i would have to pay again! I had to argue hard that I had already paid. He then told me I'd need to pay an extra £5.00 to park in their empty car park, which wasn't mentioned at point of booking. So there was no smile, no welcome at all.

OK stay, expensive compared to...

Liked: Easy to access motorway network. Room was clean and in good order.
Disliked: I don’t expect to have to pay for car parking when I stay at a hotel. A £5 overnight charge was required before I could check-in. This wasn’t highlighted at Booking time. The staff said it was not refundable. I was told the kitchen would be closed 24 hrs before my booking. On arrival I was told it was now open but I’d made other arrangements by then.

Prob wouldn’t stay again, but...

Liked: Very clean accommodation.
Disliked: Stayed 2 nights. Didnt make the bed, re stock the coffee/Tea. Or clean the roomThe room was in need of an upgrade, very dated

Good value for money

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect customer service.
Disliked: Not much of a view from our room and also car parking could be free.
