Liked: The room was fine. A standard 2 bed queen. Everything was fine. The location was perfect for our visit to Universal Studios and Warner Bros. tour.
Disliked: The breakfast was mediocre. Same everyday: scrambled eggs, sausage, waffle, cereal. Would have been nice to have breakfast rolls, and oatmeal available too.

Liked: Bedroom is clean, spacious and has a very decent common area to get some work done.
Disliked: It "technically" has breakfast and "technically" has a gym. The gym only has one machine and 2 treadmills. Breakfast is basically DYI with only eggs and sausage as options and a bunch of food bought in a supermarket.When I tried to check out and get the money I paid as a safety deposit, the staff were chatting in their backroom and no one came up to help me, even though I waited 10min and could clearly hear them chatting.

Liked: The location is great for Universal trips, and the surround area is nice and has a high number of walkable dining options. The room was clean and had very comfortable beds.
Disliked: Staff was lacking in customer service skills. All vending machines in the building were either broken or mostly empty.

Dead bolt didn't lock on...

Disliked: I was upset because the dead bolt to lock the door wouldn't lock.I addressed this with the night staff. They were sold out at 1 am. in the morning, so moving to another room wasn't an option. I was told it would be ok because there were cameras. I couldn't sleep knowing we didn't feel safe. Had to stack chairs in front of the door just in case, I am surprised that this issue hasn't been fixed or addressed previously. Unable to add video of door not locking.was not offered any type of compensation due to issues.

Liked: Excellent front desk guys. Very receptive and helpful. At walking distance, very nice restaurants!Big room!
Disliked: Room cleaning could be better. Bathtub was new but bath curtain smelled bad…Paid almost the same for the Palazzo at the Venetian in LA at the very same week…

Liked: Breakfast room was clean and open for an nice lengthy time to take in breakfast. The room was spacious and well lit. the bathroom was clean.
Disliked: Breakfast had no fresh fruit options only lots and lots of bananas. no fresh juice only machine generated juice. the linen on the beds was old and worn. the coffee pods used are not very tasty for some knows coffee well and who enjoys coffee. Bath towels were badly stained, and thread bare, if giving shampoo and lotion - when there are two guests you need to give 2 lotions, 2 shampoos and 2 conidtioners.
