Disappointing

Liked: The bed was clean and comfortable. The staff that was there tried their best.
Disliked: Scheduled a 3pm check in and was greeted with a 20 minute wait at the front desk because the clerk was not there and someone form housekeeping was filling in. This was at 4:30 as we arrived late. I was told that our room would not be ready for about another hour. I agreed as there was a line behind me. I wanted to pay in cash as I was not able to stop at a bank and make a deposit prior to my trip. She had to call a manager on the phone and ask how to process a cash payment. She hung up the phone and stated that she need my card as an imprint only and it would not be charged and I would be contacted that evening or I could come down to the front desk and pay the next morning at checkout. We were able to enter our room in just under 55 minutes after talking with the cleaning staff on our floor. The next morning, prior to the receipt being slipped under my door I got a text form my bank alerting me to an overdraft on a processed charge at this hotel. On top of that, out of the 4 TV channels my wife wanted to watch, none of them would come in clearly for more than 15-20 seconds.

Won’t be back.

Liked: The breakfast was fine and location was fine.
Disliked: Staff was never at front desk and acted weird. My son got cut and broke his toe in the pool. An alarm went off in the middle of the night not once but twice.

Liked: The breakfast was absolutely wonderful! Our rooms were clean and comfortable. It was very conveniently located and easy to walk to different restaurants in the area.
Disliked: I booked three rooms two months in advance. The rooms were not close to each other. When we checked in, we were given no information on anything regarding the hotel. The elevator made clunking noise and drop a few inches when we would get in and when it would stop.

Great Stay!

Liked: Well kept up property. Clean and spacious rooms. Most comfortable beds I have ever had at a hotel! Pool area was fun for kids! Will be our top choice in Fargo from now on!
Disliked: Nothing!

Unfortunately a worst case scenario...

Liked: It's a decent property if you can get what you reserve. They did not honor the type of room booked via Booking.com. The manager at the front desk blamed the platform and said we should have booked directly with the hotel chain (even though it was booked months ahead of time). I recognize the reservation was during a very busy week, however, given the very early booking I would have imagined they would have honored the reservation type.
Disliked: See above. The staff demonstrated no concern or accountability for a "third party reservation" (via Booking.com) and blamed the platform. We filed a complaint and it has been well over a week without resolution. I believe that the platform defaults to having the property resolve a concern - and when they are not compliant with the reservation parameters or willing to step up with a solution - they then blame each other. Regardless, you as the customer are left 'holding the bag'.
