Best Western Plus Irvine Spectrum Hotel

Liked: It was close to the venue and quiet.

The hotel was in a great location; the room was spacious; with a couple of minor changes I would have given it 5 star rating.

Liked: Location.
Disliked: Only one ice machine for the whole complex. The breakfast is OK at best. The table had paint overspray on it.

Liked: Very nice property in a good location. We had a nice second floor room overlooking the pool which was also quick and easy to get down to the parking lot. Property feels big, nice, spacious, secure and somewhat more details than we thought a Best Western would have.
Disliked: The older guy working the check-in desk is very slow. Not discourteous or impolite, but just very slow.

Disliked: One of the nights I came back to my room and was alarmed if someone was in my room or not. I notified front desk, they offered to move me, but I have large family, stuff everywhere, and sleeping kids and I said no. They told me they would check cameras and get back to me. They never did. Why did I think someone was in my room? I came to self conclusion it was cleaning staff who may have started, and left without cleaning. Shower bottles were on counter of bodywash and shampoo being poured together and some kind of keychains left behind were not mine. That day no trash removed or beds made and was confused and this alarmed to find strange things in room.2nd thing didn’t like was the spa was gross with some kind of bubble film. It needed Matainance. Shameful to admit my family went in anyway with sore bodies from adventuring and one of reasons we wanted hotel was for spa. Just made sure everyone showered good after.3rd, pull out bed was terrible! My child ended up sleeping on top folded because cushions were more comfortable then want to be mattress.
