Exceptional

Liked: Our room had been upgraded to deluxe due to wedding anniversary. Lovely decorated room and free drinks at the bar.

Disliked: Breakfast, berries in the fruit would be welcome plus an opportunity to request a slightly different hot breakfast eg poached eggs.Pastries were delicious.

Disappointing

Liked: The location was good for walking into Ilkley
Disliked: The reception was unmanned upon arrival and the staff were not particularly friendly. The bed linen was ripped and dirty on one of the twin beds. I didn't think the breakfast was not value for money.

Liked: Location good, staff were lovely, good size room and bathroom.
Disliked: I was contacted by the hotel to let me know there was a function on the night I was staying, and to let them know if I needed a quiet room away from the noise. I did so, they promised a room away from the function suite. However, I may as well have been right above the music and noise as I could hear every word of every song played! Not great when it went on until midnight. So a poor night sleep, and an early morning wake up from the creaking floorboards in the room above which was impossible to sleep through. I booked a large room so I could spend some time relaxing but the sofa looked like it had recently been rescued from a local squat!! Breakfast was “fast” a la transport caf!

Liked: Staff and breakfast and location was brilliant just let down by noise side.
Disliked: We was near the function room and their was a 40th function.on and we felt like we had our bed on the dancefloor then as soon as it finished our neighbours came in next door and we had a adjoining room with just a door between us, they might aswell of come and sat in our room we heard everything, eventually 1am I asked to move rooms to a quieter part of building and got 5hrs sleep after that...
