Liked: On site parking that was included in the rate was very nice. The room was clean. I paid for a lake view and received a lake view. Staff was very friendly. The coffee maker in the lobby was nice.
Disliked: Hallways smelled like weed. The coffee maker in my room was broken.

Such a good deal for...

Liked: Super convenient location for my overnight business trip—beer festival at Museum of Science and Industry. Relatively cheap room that comes with free parking and breakfast, plus a view of the lake at sunrise! Even though I stayed on a Saturday night, the hotel itself was pretty quiet and we saw very few other guests during the stay. My impression is the hotel doesn’t have many rooms, which is great. The bed and pillows were surprisingly comfortable (no bed bugs, either, we always examine bedding with flashlights before use). Check-in and -out were a breeze. No problem getting a free parking spot, either.
Disliked: 1. The parking lot needs to be resurfaced and painted. Rough ride and hard to distinguish parking spots. 2. This is pretty far south of the loop, Mag Mile, Navy Pier and other tourist destinations in the city. I would recommend to tourists only if they are comfortable driving in the city. Plus, it is like three minutes off Lake Shore Drive

Liked: Close to the Metra Metropolitan Rail, trains to Downtown Chicago every 30 minutes about 20 minute ride, conductors on the train selling tickets $3.75 one way.
Disliked: Would have lo Ed larger pillows.
