Liked: Not worth the price Booking showed only 2 rooms left 240 per night yet the hotel was empty not booked at all . I feel booking does this to run the price up

Disliked: Carpet needs cleaning or to be replaced. Looks dirty.

The best in Garberville

Liked: It's the best lodging in Garberville. The room was clean and they finally got the pool opened again.
Disliked: Severely overpriced, but options in Garberville are limited. Also, our second floor room was invaded by ants overnight. It took quite a while to get them out of our possessions. Unfortunately the woman at the front desk showed no interest or concern for this issue.

Liked: Great place, large rooms, great breakfast! I forgot a couple things and they had complementary items at no charge! Would stay here again.

Liked: Nice big room, ideally situated for the Avenue of the Giants.
Disliked: Shortage of food at breakfast: no yoghurt, pancakes mix ran out. I felt that I was charged for the pool even though it was way too early in the season to use it and the whirlpool spa was out of use.

Pleasant

Liked: Breakfast was OK. The second day the food seemed to be left over from the first.
Disliked: Staff seemed not able to work together. We were charged two separate rates for two exactly same rooms.
