Disliked: Hard to find, when driving, because it's on a pedestrian street and the local police don't like you driving to the hotel front door

Happy to Visit Caen but...

Liked: Breakfast buffet was very good with lots of options and quality food. Staff were pleasant. Parking option was nice but limited on number of spaces, so reservation is definitely needed. Front desk staff was lovely, spoke very good English and wanted to make sure you were happy.
Disliked: Shower. The "wall" for the shower was so short that if you placed shower head in top position, water sprayed out onto room. Need longer wall, curtain - something. If planning trip to Normandy beaches, the majority would have been closer if staying in Bayeaux, unless you only want to see Canadian or British beaches/cemeteries. For bar area, carry some type of snacks to go with alcohol sold onsite. Location wasn't near walking area to local shops, etc., so we definitely needed a car!

Perfect base to explore Caen

Liked: Great location, close to shops, historic sites and restaurants. Bright room with lovely window opening onto square.Really lovely helpful staff.
Disliked: The shower pressure was poor.

Disliked: The only issue we had is that the doors bang quite loudly as people come and go during the night.
