Best Western Plus Holiday Sands Inn & Suites

We booked there due to proximity to the naval base for tours, found this to be the case. Enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend to others.

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, great suites, great breakfast, very clean
Disliked: None

Exceptional

Pleasant

Liked: It is an excellent location very easy to get to the beach and to the highway
Disliked: The doors and walls were not very insulated noise from the parking lot woke me up every night

Think twice

Liked: Breakfast was good. It was on the bay with sand. Nice hot water for the shower.
Disliked: Had a kitchen room but needed to rent items needed to use the stove, ect.Very loud outside. Air conditioner only worked if we put something there to keep the curtains back. Beds were uncomfortable. Some staff were very rude. Sink in kitchen leaked. Our view was of scaffolding!!!

Not worth it

Liked: Receptionist was very nice and allowed me to check in early. There was a fenced-in dog run that appeared to be clean. Parking was easy. The room is as you would expect for a budget motel.
Disliked: They charged $100 for incidentals, which is fine but I had no heads up. The beach itself is small and dirty (trash/dead animals). It was off a busy street in a not so great neighborhood. The room was clean but had an odor.

Will stay again

Liked: The king suite was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfy, and I got a great several night's sleep. The complementary included breakfast was great adhd the staff was always helpful.
Disliked: Not much reallyRoom darkening curtains were a little too long and stopped the ac from getting in the room making it hot. Easy fix though

Was not as nice as...

Liked: Michell helped us and was exceptional,but kistine was cold and indifferent! The toilet was so low to the floor I could hardly get up and down! The beds were comfortable and Tv was good ! Office staff very official,but not warm or friendly! But ,we needed a clean place to sleep over for a night! It served our needs !
