This Hotel No Bueno

Liked: Close proximity to where I had to go the next day. Looked decent.
Disliked: I booked a reservation to the hotel to spend one night between 16-17 of July and when I arrived later that Sunday evening I noticed there was a power outage cause there was no lights on. Parked the car and went inside where I was greeted by the receptionist guy which informed me about the power outage aswell and the fact that they would fix the issues later that night around 1-2 am. He also informed me if I choose to stay or not is up to me but if I choose to leave he assured me they would not charge my card and I could go to a different hotel. After 10 minutes of giving some thought I left my name to the receptionist in case Booking would call to verify my information about not having to charge my card because I didn’t beneficiated of any service nor it was possible, and I booked and stayed at another hotel that night. I also called booking on customer service phone number to inform them about the issue but the guy at the other end of the phone was having a thick accent and was having trouble letting me speak or explain, cutting me off many times and eventually hunging up mid sentence, when my request was very simple. Later that night I also sent a message to customer service booking informing them bout the situation. And of course after a day they charged me. Either booking or Best Western…. I tried talking to them back and forth trying to get my money back but with no end. They stole my money from my card. And were unable to treat customer with any respect. They stole 114 dollars from my wallet.

Liked: Didn't have breakfast. Location was near my destination.
Disliked: The elevator and whole 2nd floor smelled like marijuana.

good for people with pets

Liked: Front desk girl was nice, nice hot shower, breakfast was good-waffle maker, bagels, (the round egg patty eh) sausage, yummy fried potato’s and a parfait maker, cereals etc juice and coffee machine.
Disliked: Did not realize was a pet friendly hotel (my fault) I love dogs but some ppl just do not keep their pets clean. The room had a strong wet dog smell. The carpet felt wet in some places soon as i slipped my shoes off so it felt so gross being in the room at first with the smell and damp carpet not knowing why.. (I don’t think there should be any carpet especially being pet friendly. ) Husband and kids already unloaded etc or else would have asked to change roomsWe’re were told the pool pump just broke the day before but it’s ok to swim although a little cloudy. So kids swam but seemed kinda gross too. A woman walking her dog down the hall and into the elevator left the biggest trail of funk after being gone, i’m sorry the dog stunk very bad. I didn’t have any pets i won’t be staying at pet friendly hotel again otherwise wasn’t bad, price was a little high for what it was imo. NO hair Dryer and had to go back to front for pull out couch bedding there was none in room.
