Liked: Great, classic New Orleans feel. Beautiful courtyard, wonderful breakfast and staff was very nice!

Insomnia hotel..

Liked: Pool is nice but that is about it.
Disliked: We had to change rooms as we got very little sleep in the room looking to the street. Also the airconditioners in the rooms are loud as hell. Blowing loud like a hurricane and also buzzing like a swarm of bees. So you are sleep deprived either due to the noise coming from the street or from the airconditioners and from both if you’re unlucky enough and get the street room.. The beds could be wider and the sinks unclogged. We almost had to kick open the door in the 1st room - it was really hard to open. The breakfast was fairly basic and their coffee machine worked only 1 out of our 2 days there.

10/10 would return again when...

Liked: It was within walking distance of Bourbon Street and the Louis Armstrong park. The area right around is very walkable. The courtyard is gorgeous! It was so refreshing to go down to the pool while it was hot and humid outside. The lobby has lovely spaces to hang out.

Liked: Wendell at the front desk was incredibly nice. Cheap parking for being in the French quarters and walkable to anything on bourbon street. Great secluded small spot
Disliked: What few things I didn't like were minimal in the staff.Well they're made up for it

Perfect location, great staff, for...

Liked: Location perfect, walking distance to everything. Outstanding breakfast. Breakfast personnel were a delight. Entire staff friendly and did the best they could with an aging facility. BED was fantastic, I wanted to bring it home with me.
Disliked: No hot water in our shower. Bathtub shower stuck in half on position..shower and tub faucet ran at the same time. Limited housekeeping due to lack of personnel.
