Best Western PLUS Flint Airport Inn & Suites

The hotel is new. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when I had phone problems. There are restaurants (some sit down, some fast food), gas stations, shopping and groceries literally across the street. I would stay here again.

Disliked: It wasn't as close to the venue as we were led to believe.

Liked: Young lady that checked me in did a great job.
Disliked: Because of a storm the power went out, not the hotels fault. One woman at the desk, not the one who checked me in, was very rude when I tried to ask if the power company had any idea when power might be restored. She told her boss it didn't happen which made me mad. Owner was very gracious. Wish they would take out the carpet and put in some other kind of flooring. Room had a smell of weed and the fridge had not been cleaned out.

Disliked: The staff was rude upon check in. The room was not clean. Faint smell of cigarette smoke. Spa tub wouldn’t plug. Night staff brought us extra wash cloths to help plug it, but even with that the water pressure was so low that it would have taken all night to fill the spa. Faucet handles on spa were kinda broken as well. Spa was also cracked and badly caulked around the crack. Coffee area and maker were not clean. Desk chair had a broken arm rest and marks on the seat. There was a tack in the wall over the bed. There was blood on the wall in the bathroom by the door. Mirrors were not clean either. Was very disappointing. We checked out early

Disliked: did not have the room available that we booked. Breakfast was constantly out of things and hardly ever refilled especially in the last hour. Pool was very cloudy and dirty. Hot tub was not hot at all.

Liked: Loved the gym facilities, but there were no towels available Saturday night or again Sunday morning even after I told the staff they were empty.The hot tub wasn’t working properly because the water was cold. Plus we didn’t find out that the whole pool area was going to be closed Sunday for maintenance until we checked in on Saturday.
