Comfortable Stay, Confusing Access

Liked: The bed was comfortable, the TV worked well, and the Wi-Fi was reliable.
Disliked: Communication from staff could have been better. I was told I could access the outdoor patio through the saltwater pool area, but the door was locked with a chemical treatment sign. When I asked about another way, I was directed around the building—only to find that door locked too. The clerk later admitted she hadn’t been updated and only works weekends. Not her fault, but it did feel a bit like a scavenger hunt with no prize. Also, my bathroom door was mysteriously locked when I arrived. I had to MacGyver it open with a coin, per the front desk clerk's suggestion. On top of that, the room had an odd smell I couldn’t quite place, and there was hair in the shower—never a welcome surprise.

Disliked: I was charged for smoking in the room. We absolutely did not smoke ! Called hotel and coorperation office but was told nothing could be done.

Liked: Excellent location. It was very comfortable and a nice hot breakfast. I loved the fact that there were two TV’s in the room so that i could watch one thing and someone else could watch another.
