Liked: I liked the breakfast staff. Everyone was helpful. I especially enjoyed my conversation with "Lawrencia" (sp?) She is hard working and lovely.I really liked the breakfast offering provided. I was able to have hot or cold food. Of course, I really enjoy making waffles. I was very impressed at how staff was cleaning and refreshing containers continuously. I liked the breakfast drink machine. It had water, cranberry juice, apple juice and orange juice, all cold and refreshing.I liked that the desk staff was helpful and thorough, checking with me after I requested some help with plumbing to make sure it was done. And, the same lady helped me locate a luggage carrier when we checked out.
Disliked: I did not like Grace at check-in. She was not happy to be there and not very welcoming. I don't think she was trained or inspired to think about her importance to new clients' first impressions. We arrived an hour early. When I inquired about check in, she simply began to ring up an early check in fee in a perfunctory manner. We elected to leave and return later. It could have been a better interaction, but we had no issues an hour later. I did not like that the "fresh" breakfast cranberries/granola had fruit flies buzzing in and out of it.I did not like that I had to go up and down 2 floors to find the 2 working ice machines. It seemed very "efficiency minded" not "customer friendly."I did not like that the coffee machine in the breakfast nook did not work either day I tried to fill a cup. I know someone attempted to fix it, but the next day, there was no change. I was disappointed that the facility had only 2 trolleys for luggage. We stayed several days, so we had a bit of cargo. It was difficult to find a trolley when we were leaving. The lady at the desk helped me locate one, but it delayed our check out at least 1/2 hour.
