Although the receptionist was nice...

Liked: The location was convenient.
Disliked: The property was run down, bed had lice or some kind of bugs in them which caused me to itch for 2 days during and afterwards.

Checking out was the worst

Liked: No breakfast offered
Disliked: The staff was very unprofessional

Visiting relatives in the Clinton...

Liked: Our room was comfy, check in was tricky due to an issue with my credit card. The representative at the front desk. helped me to resolve it patiently and professionally. Breakfast choices were great and meal was good.
Disliked: Coffee in the front desk area was not hot and not sure how often it was made.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful, All areas were clean. Breakfast was a cut above other hotel complimentary breakfasts. The room had everything we wanted.
Disliked: My traveling companion but you can't help that. Pool was closed, which was ok because we weren't there to swim.

Liked: The room was SO inviting and squeaky clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy and the breakfast options amazing.

Liked: The property was fine.
Disliked: We had booked a double bed room for our family of 5 and had chosen this particular hotel due to that room size. When we arrived we were told our room had been given away and all that was available was a single king. After discussing why this would not fit our family we were informed that was all there was and the room we booked was not available. It’s was 1am and we were traveling 12 hours from home so we stayed and were provided a cot. Our kids are teenagers and not small children so a broken down cot and king size bed and sofa were not at all sufficient sleeping arrangements for our family. We got hardly any sleep and were very uncomfortable.

Lackluster Service and Accommodations on...

Liked: Breakfast was ok. The waffles are pretty decent. The front desk and cleaning lady did try to get me clean towels when we ran out and the hotel was out of clean linen eventually.
Disliked: Breakfast was lackluster. Looks like a new person was hired that doesn't cook well. You should not boil canadian bacon and serve it. All the taste has been cooked out of it. Some of the pastries are stale, and I would suggest more pastries with fruit in them. Maybe offer fresh fruit sliced in bowls or something. Juices had a little too much sugar in them, and you should have more than one creamer bottle at the coffee station for guests. You're being cheap with the wrong things. Staff was either new and overwhelmed with the number of guests for a holiday weekend or just inefficient, wasting time talking to each other and not on top of the job. My husband and I stayed on the first in room 104. The day of the storm, rain poured in through the window on top of the ac unit.
