Best Western Plus Carpinteria Inn

Great stay, super friendly staff

Liked: Close to the Surfliner Carpinteria train stop, took my grandsons on the train and stayed two nights. They loved the Koi pond and the gardens.
Disliked: We decided to have breakfast at the restaurant on site. It was very overpriced for what you got. If I didn’t have the kids, I definitely would’ve rather have gone somewhere else for breakfast.

Great value, mission-style charm

Liked: For a vacation area, this was a surprise value. The room overlooked a lush courtyard, it was quiet in spite of it's proximity to the highway, and the staff were lovely.
Disliked: Poor flavor and strength of the Keurig-style coffee in the room. I went downstairs and the coffee maker in the lobby was not functioning right.
