Not as advertised

Liked: The room was well presented.Bar staff were friendly
Disliked: The hotel was advertised as a spa, once booked we got an automated message saying that it was recently closed and wouldn't be open. Sure to the trout of booking we couldn't cancel without losing the full amount. Breakfast was a let down, scrambled eggs were very firm and the sausages were overcooked. We went for breakfast about 15 mins after it started We stay in Lincoln a few times a year and decided to stay here for the spa facilities as a treat for ourselves so we're very frustrated to find out it was all closed, and had actually been cooked for several months (Oct 2024) but they only changed their name in booking com a few days before our stay.

Disliked: Directions off the main road were non existent, a large hotel sign showing the way would be beneficial to all hotel guests.

Excellent hotel

Liked: Quiet, comfortable hotel with good parking. Very helpful staff. Large, well equipped room with AC.
Disliked: AC unit was the noisiest!

Excellent customer service

Liked: Excellent customer service. I stayed here whilst on a business trip to Lincoln. The staff and service were exceptional. Food was good quality, and the rooms were exceptionally clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Disappointed.

Liked: The breakfast but not the coffee and the pastries were under cooked both days.
Disliked: No black bins in the car park. Bed uncomfortable. Pillows toooo big. Room had no natural light. Duvet too thick for this time of year.Very over priced to eat in restaurant. Local pubs can eat better for half the price.

Pleasant

Liked: There are zero leisure fascilities..no pool, gym or sauna. Breakfast was however very good
Disliked: No leasure facilities as advertised in the name of the establishment
