Budget hotel and it shows!

Liked: The location.
Disliked: It was very old. Door to bathroom was broken. When we arrived there was hair in the tub. Pack and play was requested but not ready and staff refused to set it up and after we did we found holes in the net of the pack and play, again it was really old and discolored. No complimentary toiletries were readily available but needed to be requested. Room service was requested and confirmed on check in and to find out day of that we were not on the list. Water bottles were offered to guests who check in but were not offered to us when we did. Pool wasn't attractive and again- old, same with the "gym", hardly anyone used their amenities. The pillows were oddly shaped squares, not comfortable, stuffing seemed old. Table in the room was rusty. This place is great if you're looking to simply sleep. It's definitely a budget hotel and it shows. I did enjoy the make-your-own waffle they had going during breakfast. Staff aren't as friendly as one would expect in the hospitality department. I saw housekeeping, requested for a laundry bag- no smile or eye contact as I got handed one. I don't think it will be a place I will want to come back to nor would it be one I would recommend.
