Best Western Plus Beckley Inn

Horrible. Rachael the mgr hung...

Liked: Property was ok but floor was soaked from leaking ac unit. Room was musty and grew worse as we stayed the three days.
Disliked: Humid and uncomfortable with half the room soaked. Had to use hair dryer to dry my tennis shoes and my backpack which I left on the floor. Never offered to move us.

Disliked: Beds could have been better. Could use updating, especially the floors (remove carpet) and beds.

In a pinch, it was...

Liked: The location was great. Staff and breakfast were great.
Disliked: Water damage was evident on multiple floors, ice machine was 1 floor down from the floor we stayed on, floor signs in elevator did not correspond to elevator floor legend. Women’s restroom in breakfast area/lobby area was out of service and we had to go up to our room (5th floor) to use the restroom, then go back downstairs to finish our breakfast. We had to rinse out the bathtub before we could use it.

Liked: Pretty boring. Really no healthy options.
Disliked: We walked into the lobby to check in and the front staff woman was yelling at a young woman, presumably homeless, who had snuck in and was trying to access something in the dining room. Staff was tough; seems it has happened before. She did apologize to us. Just very disconcerting and we didn’t feel safe.
